What is an RVOE
The Official Validity Recognition of Studies (RVOE) is the act of the educational authority by virtue of which it is determined to incorporate a study plan and programs that an individual imparts, or intends to impart, to the National Educational System.
What is the difference between a State and a Federal RVOE?
The only difference lies in the Educational Authority granted by the RVOE, both the federal and the state RVOE have the same validity in the National Educational System.
Does the RVOE apply to all the programs that are taught in an Institution?
No. The Educational Authority grants a Recognition of Official Validity for each Plan and Study Program and specifically for a specific address.
What are the consequences for an institution in which its study programs do not have RVOE, but in its advertising makes the public believe that they do have recognition?
Individuals who teach without RVOE have the obligation to mention in all their advertising that they do and the documentation they issue, their status as unincorporated to avoid cheating on students and their parents. Failure to comply with this provision may lead to the imposition of sanctions provided for in Article 77 of the Law on the matter.
Are there other educational authorities empowered to incorporate into the national educational system plans and programs of study offered by private institutions of the highest type?
Yes, autonomous universities such as the Autonomous University of Querétaro, the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the Universities of the federal entities, the National Polytechnic Institute, among others.

If I have been denied RVOES?
Si le han negado el RVOE es que su Programa y Plan de Estudios fue mal presentados, mal fundamentados, o no contaba con todos los requisitos que exige las Autoridades Educativas, por ello, el Centro Nacional de Investigación Educativa MAVIC, puede revisar todos los errores cometidos; o bien, iniciar un nuevo Plan y Programa y realizar el trámite para que obtenga su Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial de Estudios
Who can do the RVOE?
El RVOE Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial, debe ser tramitado, gestionado y elaborado por personas expertas en educación, con amplio conocimiento de las necesidades educativas del Estado, y del país, en que se va a solicitar. Para ello, el Centro Nacional de Investigación Educativa MAVIC, pone a sus ordenes sus servicios para todo tipo de trámite relacionado con RVOES, toda vez que nos especializamos en hacer investigaciones de factibilidad y pertinencia de los programas que se quieran implementar.
If I have a high school. Can I do it University?
Si, siempre y cuando las Instalaciones de su Institución Educativa, cuenten con la infraestructura adecuada, y los requerimientos necesarios, para recibir estudiantes del nivel de Licenciatura. Para lo cual, tendrá que obtener el Reconocimiento de Validez Oficial de 5 Programas Educativos en mínimo 3 áreas del conocimiento. Nosotros le apoyamos en realizar todos sus Programas de Estudio a Nivel de Licenciatura y/o Posgrados en la Modalidad que mejor le convenga, para que pueda obtener el reconocimiento como Universidad.
If I want a Health Program, do you have it?
Si, Para los Planes y Programas de Salud es necesario obtener la Opinión Técnica Académica (OTA) y una vez obtenida se realiza el trámite Federal para la obtención del RVOE. Nosotros trabajamos todos los Criterios que solicita CIFRHS para la obtención del mismo.
When can I apply for my RVOE?
El periodo por ley, de conformidad al Acuerdo de Febrero del 2024, para solicitar el RVOE, es solamente los meses de Marzo, Junio y Noviembre de cada año, algunos Estados manejan sus propios tiempos.
